Our Board

Beth Melton, Board President

Beth is the board president of Steamboat Reading and provides advisory support to the Steamboat Reading team.

Beth has a Master’s in Teaching with endorsements in Early Childhood, Elementary, ELL, and Special Education. She also has a graduate certificate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Beth is trained in Orton-Gillingham and several other intervention programs for reading and writing including LiPS, Visualizing/Verbalizing, and SIPPS. Beth has experience teaching kindergarten through eighth-grade students in both classroom and intervention settings. She was an early literacy specialist for Northwest Colorado BOCES for five years.
